May, 2009: Week Without Walls: 3rd Annual Outreach Event. Local high school students shadow volunteer graduate students for a few hours. A brief overview of applying to UCBerkeley for an undergraduate education. This event has passed. If you are interested in participating in next year's event, please send us an email.
September, 2009: NSF Fellowship Workshop: Our third annual two-part NSF Fellowship Workshop. Part I of the workshop is a panel of previous NSF Recipients and Berkeley professors who have experience reviewing NSF applications. The open discussion format gives all an opportunity to ask questions regarding the application process. Part II of the workshop is a one-on-one match-up of past NSF recipients to current applicants. This gives you the opportunity to have someone who has successfully received this fellowship, review your application and give you pointers. You must sign-up for this portion of the workshop and it is a first-come first-serve service. Please come back here for when sign-ups are open or email us at berkeley.sacnas@gmail.com.
