Our second annual two-part NSF Fellowship Workshop was a huge success!  Part I of the workshop is a panel of previous NSF Recipients and Berkeley professors who have experience reviewing NSF applications.  The open discussion format gives all an opportunity to ask questions regarding the application process.  Part II of the workshop is a one-on-one match-up of past NSF recipients to current applicants. This gives you the opportunity to have someone who has successfully received this fellowship, review your application and give you pointers.  33% of those who participated in Part II of the workshop, was awarded an NSF-GRFP in the 2008-2009 round!  Congratulations to all of the new NSF Fellows and many thanks to those previous fellows who volunteered their time and effort.  This workshop was made possible through the support of the UCB MCB Department and through the HWNI.  To sign-up for next year's workshop, please look back here for details in the fall semester.
